The night air was great. The blonde couldn't help but take a deep breath of it in and have his lungs fill with the distinct smell of... smoke? He glowered in the direction of the rising smog that came near the very area he had claimed housing. If having it's circuts ripped and snapped wasn't enough, Maguri's late computer was probably burning in some sort of fire right about now. A fitting way to go for something as troublesome as it had been. Though, this new rise caused some damper to the yakuza's initial plans.

Rather than worry about a run down excuse for a home, Maguri stopped atop one of the buildings he'd been hopping over. It was then that he decided to muse over Maora's question.

Since when did he have the ability to clear a jump and defy gravity? The vice-president mocked a pondering expression. Not that the brunette could see it since the only view he had was that of his blonde lover's back. "Since I decide to be serious about my promise to you." It wasn't a lie nor was it a straight answer. Heck, Tsujimiya hardly had the correct answer himself. All the details were slightly blurred and confusing, but if it meant that he could keep his promise to Yoshitaka and keep the boy with him, he'd willingly pay the price. After all, there were things in this world that called for more than simple human strength.

Maguri had a momentary lapse of nostaglia. If only he and Moara could return home. Maybe, even with Otomiya. They'd be happy together with the others as the unbeatable student council team.

Ah, but it was Haine who had broken that team and happiness in the first place. Maguri shook the memories of the council's friendly, warm tea times. Those days were in the past. Now that they were here...

Change.

"Someone..." Maguri's face and tone seemed to darken as he began to give the other boy a more formal answer. His golden eyes gazed out and studied the lifting smoke in the distance. "Someone decided to help me get rid of a few obsticles. At a small price." Small was an understatement. "I'll do anything to become stronger for you."

Tossing his gaze over in another direction, Maguri smiled over his shoulder and pointed out to the tenements. "Do you have a home here?"

Maguri's answer to the question was less than agreeable. For one, how long ago was that, and two did he make that promise without the intent of being serious then?! The brunette started to make a sound, but this silent Maguri made him think that perhaps he needed a minute to collect himself.

But maybe that meant...he had changed his mind. Maybe he was playing a game after all.

The dark tone that followed seemed...out of place. It sent a chill down Maora's spine. But the blonde's determination to prove himself left Maora speechless, and once again, confused. What person was this? And what kind of price? Maora wasn't sure if the answer when worded like that could possibly be good.

"Un, I'm in the second building, on the third floor." Maora replied to the inquiry, then added a bit playfully, "though I would have thought that a kidnapper was supposed to know that kind of information before hand."

His face twisted in a rather silly sort of way, a grin twitching from the corner from his mouth. "Not everyone can be as informed about everything like you!" Oh, Maguri was very well aware that the boy slung over his shoulders was the most informative person on the Imperial campus. No one else knew or made it a point to know every detail and secret about the students... especially the most important figures at their school. Unlike Maora, Maguri didn't bother to gather information or do any sort of detective work of his own. Thus, he had no clue to where Maora had been staying, whom Maora had been conversing with, or...

What in kami-sama's name this world was called!?

Who cared. Maora was the student council treasure and Maguri had held his position as vice-president for seperate reasons. The two of them offered their own skills to the council, Shizun, and their school. The yakuza had no intention of ever learning how to become a busy-body like his lover. Wait. Was that even the point?

Maguri turned his back on the climbing smoke and took to the second building that Maora had mentioned. "Who said I was a kidnapper anyway?" The blonde frowned, just a tad annoyed by the tittle. Maguri the kidnapper? Come one. No way!

Settling down on the ground, Maguri continued to carry the other boy in to the tenement building, up to the third floor, and...

"......"

Ok. So maybe he should take up some information gathering. Maguri stared at the room numbers and was about ready to just pick any random one... all for the sake of not hearing Maora tease him about his lack of "kidnapper skills".

"I'm at the age where I'm curious! I can't help it!" Maora defended, having said something similar to Koutei some time ago. Well, it was true. Not only had their principal instructed Maora to do as such, but being Yuubinya-san had led Maora to naturally come to find out a lot of information about the students. So what if he technically qualified for busy-body of the year? At least he wasn't ignorant.

At Maguri's annoyance at the title, Maora argued, "What else would you call someone that carries you in this fashion?!" For starters, he hadn't asked if Maora was ready to leave. He hadn't asked if he could carry him. But MOST importantly, he hadn't waited to see what Maora would say to his request.

Would they really...?

Maora snickered at Maguri standing in the hallway, contemplating what room was his. Before letting the blonde charge into any random room, nonchalantly the treasurer mused, "306."

"Maa~ and here I was thinking you would whisk me away and seduce me the right way..."

Was that a challenge Yoshitaka was provoking? Or was he actually slightly disappointed? One couldn't be sure.

The boy was about ready to waltz right into the first room that caught his eye. Who knew if the owners were in there to begin with!? Fortunatly, Maora saved him the trouble by giving him the proper number. Maguri's eyes lit up, face flushed with a tint of red. Embaressment? Or was it from the mock challenge that the 'fairy godmother' over his shoulders just issued? Judging by that tone in the other boy's voice, it certainly had to be. Right? Either way, it did the job of causing Maguri to wake up to the situation and take a little more action (which seemed to be slipping from his grasp thanks to his lack of knowledge). Even without having to see, one could tell that Maguri was brooding over the fact that he wasn't doing this the 'proper' way. It was something he'd easily fix though.

Opening the door to the room, Maguri peered, scanning about till he found exactly what he'd been looking for. Walking over, Tsujimiya finally let the other boy down. Leaning over, his hand supporting Maora's smaller back, he carefully set the brunette a top the sheets of the bed. He took a second only to study the expression on Maora's face as he hovered over, his other hand coming down to grip the material of the sheets between his fingers. It was almost like he'd been set on trapping Maora underneath him with no room to slide or roll away from the yakuza's advances.

As much as he wanted to give the treasurer a choice, he wasn't keen on the idea that the other boy would dodge him again and again and again. Maguri had been completly and utterly serious about their relationship even prior to being swept into this world. But, the truth was, he was jealous. And scared. Frightened that the Maora he loved would be taken away from him by someone else. There was also a chance that he'd fall in love with a woman like Haine...

Otomiya had been a rival for Shizun, but even more so for Maora-- no, Yoshitaka. True, because of that girl, he and Yoshitaka had moved forward to realize their feelings, but he couldn't shake the insecurity that slipped upon entering this world. The first words he read that came directly from Maora--

The ribon.

Ema.

"I want to hear an answer from you... so don't make me repeat this again..."

The blonde's expression had become stern. The hand that had set the boy's body down pulled out from under Maora and slowly went for the ribon once more. Maguri took the red fabric in his thumb and forefinger, pulling it out to dangle between their faces.

"I want you."

His wish. He wanted it granted so desperatly.

"Can I have 'Maora'...?" he used the boy's feminine name as a play on the words he'd said before when asked what he'd wanted to eat.

There was silence. Uh-oh. It seemed as though Maora had done it again. He was only teasing! But apparently Maguri had taken it to heart, since there was no response but the blonde charging into Maora's apartment. Maora's waist was sore from being carried like this. And his left wrist for some reason had a slight throbbing as well. So when was Maguri going to put him down? And how angry was he?

Well, when Maora got his answer, his face flushed another ten shades of red. The comment must have gotten to his yakuza counterpart, because he wasted no time in positioning them both on the bed. Oh my. Not only that, but he trapped Maora there with no escape! However would the brunette dodge out of this one? The treasurer swallowed, looking up to meet the blonde's eyes, and quickly glancing away. Maguri had always been stubborn with trying to have as much physical contact as possible with Maora once they started dating, but Maora had always had his doubts, and thus, managed to circumvent a lot of the advances.

So how was he going to do it this time? Or, actually, if one question was answered...

He might not want to dodge it at all.

With Maguri's bold statement, and then softer question, the brunette looked him square in the eye.

"Do you want "Maora"..." He began, hesitation in his voice,

"...or Yoshitaka?"

Did Maguri finally acknowledge everything that Maora had done to try to win his advances in the first place? Or was he naive to think that the blonde truly understood what he had sacrificed all for him? Unbeknownst to Maora, Maguri understood sacrifice very, very well.

The stern expression on the blonde's face melted little by little at the question that the other boy gave him. He looked down, golden strands of hair falling closer against Maora's forehead. Silence stood stiff in the darkly lit room. No reply. However, a fond and affectionate glance from Maguri seemed to give reassurance.

How to word the answer? The vice-president gave it careful thought. 'Maora', the feminine half of his childhood friend, was the lighter side. Yoshitaka was the boy behind the 'girl'. Only few people actually knew him. Maguri had been fortunate enough to grow up alongside him. That thought made him remember a very important part of their lives. It was made before the promise, before the bickering, and before the crossdressing. After the accident that happened so long ago, Yoshitaka had proposed marriage. They said they'd be together like that... until Yoshitaka's parents told them that it was impossible. That's what started it. Maguri didn't want anyone to pick on Yoshitaka or laugh at the boy the way his parents had. That's why he had avoided his friend. He didn't want him to be hurt or ridiculed. That's why he needed to stay away even if that marriage between two boys moved him. He had to sacrifice his first love...

but, Yoshitaka hadn't. That's why he became Maora. For Maguri's image. For Maguri not to be laughed at. For... Maguri. He hadn't liked the fact that Yoshitaka hid behind dresses, makeup, and frills, but it was a sacrifice that quickly became apart of him. The blonde had been so stupid not to see it.

"I want... both."

"Maora is Yoshitaka. Yoshitaka is Maora. Yoshitaka and Maora... gave up so much and changed so we could be together." Maguri smiled, a little cheesily from ear to ear, but genuine all the same. "Did you still want to get married someday 'baka'? Just like we said we would?" He threw in the name calling as a tease which was apparent in his tone.

Maora watched as the blonde's face changed, and blinked up at him, a little uneasy. Was the question really so naive? Was it...wrong to ask? But it was something that he had always wondered...something that was the only thing preventing him from giving Maguri his heart entirely.

Would he have to change again? Because Maora didn't want that. It was complicated. Yoshitaka had become accustomed to dressing the way he had for quite some time now. He felt like it suited him. But it wasn't to say that he didn't like how he dressed as Yuubinya-san. There were two sides to him, and though he suppressed his male tendencies more, they were there as well. So...in other words...whichever Maguri picked...

...him not saying the other would still hurt.

But then, the answer that Maguri gave...made his eyes widen slightly. It wasn't a cop-out either. It was...

It was the answer Maora needed to hear.

With Maguri's tease, the treasurer took the opportunity to do some teasing of his own, "I would, if you could seduce me properly. You forgot the most important part..." With a surprise move from the boy, he rolled over so that now he was on top, pinning Maguri down. Pressing himself up against his lover, Maora breathed heatedly along the blonde's ear as he filled in the blank just in case Maguri was missing it,

"...foreplay. ♥"
