Ken was rather smugly pleased with himself, despite the fact someone else had given him the idea.
To make the taste of victory even greater, he was en route to meet a certain tempermental blonde, who from day one had been on his bad side. And today, he was finally going to teach the squirming insect a lesson about 'who's in charge here.'
The blunette stood, waiting. His D-3 would have affected the area around Ed, bringing him to a spot close to the cemetery, where no one particularly wanted to venture, and where he would have ample opportunity to achieve his mission.
With a characteristically arrogant face, Ken smirked as the alchemist came into view.
"Well, well, nice day for a walk, isn't it?"
His blue eyes darkened behind the tinted frames of his glasses, as he added, "But should you be leaving your brother...unattended?"

Oh hey, just like a certain Colonel he knew.
Especially not someone who dressed worth than a palm tree. Or someone who sounded too much like an arrogant brat he just now remembered that he had spoken to over the network system.
His eyes glinted, as he flashed one of his own smirks. "Oh, and who are you?"
And he did not just threaten Al. Because if he did, he was going to pay. And now was as good a time as any. Besides, he was really looking forward to beating this brat into a bloody pulp for every single word that had come out of his mouth. He'd get him later. "Bastard."

"Such foul language. I was merely wondering if your actions were a wise choice. There are so many people to watch out for in this world...and we wouldn't want your brother to have an evil ring fall around his neck-"
Ken stopped walking to smirk, "well, actually, I would. But something tells me you're not so keen on that idea, hm~? Perhaps I should shift my focus to the girl you're fond of instead?"
There was a malicious glint in Ken's eyes as he sized up the other boy. Hopefully Edward would have as savory a reaction as Daisuke tended to have. The Kaizer was, after all, quite fond of riling up his adversaries before he revealed what his true sinister motives were.
And the game was just beginning.

The blue-haired boy stopped, closer to him. ...to the girl you're so fond of... Winry...He was threatening Winry too. His teeth ground together as his lips parted in a snarl, his only response a low growl.
His muscles tensed, a feral glint in his golden eyes. No, he wouldn't kill him. He wasn't that sort of person. But he was going to hurt him. Badly. Enough to keep him from even mentioning Al or Winry ever again.

"I seemed to have struck a nerve..." The Kaizer mocked concern, then twisted his voice into a far more serious tone, "If you recall, I warned you that inciting my anger only led to severe punishment."
With another smirk, he noted something moving in the background. Excellent. Right on time. "Well? What are you waiting for? Aren't you going to brashly attack me? Or wave me off as not worth your time? Cliched heroes like yourself usually choose one of the two."

Hell, Edward had been almost glad that Winry had been here, keeping her out of reach of being a hostage, and he was not going to let her be threatened like this.
"What the hell do they have anything to do with it?" This brat...who did he think he was? In his preoccupied anger, Edward didn't notice movement behind him. All he did notice was the smirking face in front of him that was inviting him to punch it. Very much so.
Edward froze for a second, hearing the boy's words. Then proceeded to swing his right fist right at his nose. "Brashly attack?" Edward could smirk just as well. "This isn't brash. This is overdue payment."
He wasn't touching Al or Winry. Not until Edward had his say. And his say was going to be rather deciding. Screw getting him later. He would pound this brat now.

It seemed as though Ed had the upper hand.
Which is Ken started laughing maniacally. Because while the blonde was distracted by the Kaizer's tauntings and such, the Divermon that had been lurking in the shadows had appeared and in the interim, collared the alchemist with an evil ring.
Ken looked through his glasses at the boy and stood up, dusting himself off. He seemed rather unphased.
"And now for the best part of the cliche. The part where the bad guy puts the good guy in his place."
With a wicked smirk, Ken pulled out his D-3 to command, "Kneel before your new master."
Ed would be unable to disobey. Getting punched in the face was almost worth it for this...

"What the hell is this!?" He was angry, yes. Very, very, pissed off. But even more, he was going "Oh...shit." So this kid did have something to back up his threats. And all of a sudden, it made him a lot more dangerous. Shit! That meant Al and Winry...
Kneel before your new master
"..."
What the hell was going on? Like hell he was goin--
"Gah--" Although he couldn't see, to outside observers, his golden eyes flickered blood-red. His knees bent slightly, muscles resisting the command. "D-dam--gah!" Eyes red, the words choked halfway out of his mouth, as he felt his knees buckle.
No! He wouldn't do it. What was this voice anyways? Why couldn't he--
Shit-- Kneel! So persistent. Yeah...kneel..kneel...his mind blanked. Kneel before your new master. Easily, his joints bent, sending his knees crashing to the ground, his hands pressed down in front of him, supporting his weight. For a second, his eyes flickered back to gold, arms forcing himself up. For a second. Damn...it...
His mind surrendered completely. He knelt before his new master.
