Matt, giggling his way to the warehouse door, fell against it, completely shit faced. Of course, he couldn't have known about anyone being inside his warehouse, why would he suspect such a thing? He repaired it after the Dante incident.

After unlocking the door, he stood there for a moment. The city was spinning. He sloppily stuck a cigarette in his mouth, and lit it, almost catching his offending hair on fire.

Shoving the foor open, and shoving it closed behind him. He stopped in place to turn around and lock it. He was so drunk, he didn't even notice Shelly there, with the T.V. on, until he removed his jacket to move over to the sofa. -Thats- when he saw the back of the assassin's head.

He froze, his jaw agape.

Now that the nonstop racket of Matt's returning home had ceased, Shelly guessed that he had probably (finally) been discovered. Casually, he hit pause, so the television was frozen in an image of the Evil Magistrate lunging at the Steel Samurai. Shelly had a soft spot for the Evil Magistrate. The guy never got a break. On the other hand, he was so incompetant compared to the Steel Samurai one could hardly feel sorry for him. No matter. On to business.

The assassin turned around in his chair, glass of wine still in hand, and took a sip has he took in Matt's appearance. Desheveled clothes, hair a wreck and mostly singed, and his mouth was, currently, hanging open and a lit cigarette was threatening to fall out. However drunk the young man was, he seemed to have no problem keeping his focus on Shelly. The latter let the silence hang between them for several long moments before speaking.

"Mr. Engarde. You are drunk."

Matt took several loose steps backwards, the cigarette hanging onto his dry lips. He swiped it away from his face, and lost balance, falling hard on his backside.

"how-you-wha-NO!" he quickly began to crawl back, to get as far away as possible. How did DeKiller get in? the door was locked, wasn't it?!

"L-Look, I.. *ugh*.. can we uh, re-schedule this? when I'm not shit-faced?.. ehhehh.." he tried to sound dignified, but.. his current state wouldn't allow such a tone, and it came out less than desirable.

His back hitting a beam behind him, pushed himself against it, staring wide eyed and frightened at the assassin.

De Killer stood up and set down his wine glass, taking in the site of the mighty Matt Engarde scrambling across the floor like an animal.

He chuckled quietly. "Reschedule? No, Mr. Engarde, I think not." The assassin began to walk slowly towards Matt. "I only have two questions for you," he said, pausing a few feet away.

"Firstly, are these rumors I hear about what you have done to young women true? Secondly, what do you prefer? Shooting, stabbing, strangulation, drowning, electrocution, ingestion of explosive materials, or something else? I am open to your opinions and preferences."
