Since their guest had left, Trish had seemed to take up an additional residency in front of the computer that Dante had within the warehouse. The small hand held that she had come across at the base of the stairs in the city had been helpful in knowing he was there, but she found that the console was vastly easier to handle as well as faster to manipulate. It was also easier to learn about the city and its peculiar residents first hand, in addition to the few clues and conversation from Dante. There was still so much that she could ask him, but only so much of her curiosity that he could satisfy alone.
While her partner in business, albeit a business on slight hiatus, rested from his search, Trish had met five more acquaintances. Some more spirited than others, but all interesting people. After what Kira, a death god, had mentioned about meetings in person though, she began to wonder why she wasn't doing just that. And then she realized that she had never had the time or curiosity to peruse the streets of their metropolis in the past. She had always been busy with taking calls for jobs and some paperwork. Maybe it was just something about being completely idle in a city that wasn't a city that encouraged her to finally do more. From the sound of it, there were certain people, like Koga, that were worth meeting. Maybe even helping, even if it wasn't from demons and for potential pay.
Eventually, each of the conversations began to end, and despite those that seemed as if they could be indulged forever, she was restless. Glancing over her shoulder to see that Dante was still resting, Trish quietly got up and made her way toward the door, picking up her jacket so he would know that she had left temporarily, and taking her hand held device in case he did need to call.
