Until she saw on the computers that more of her friends had arrived. So without further adieu, the pink princess attempted to make her way to the meeting spot for the chosen children.
She looked exhausted. Her hair, though still decent was by no means Mimi standard for looking good, her white shoes were soot covered, and she was still limping slightly on her one ankle that had been wrapped. Any other time, she would have cared. But right now, dishevled as she was, seeing her friends was more important.
A familiar blunette caught her eye, as well as a familiar purple-haired kohai, and a new face that resembled someone, though she couldn't put her finger on it from this distance.
"Minna!" She called upon closing in on the small group, interrupting the current conversation. Her eyes misted with tears from happiness to see more familiar faces, though she quickly rubbed them away, not wanting to look any worse than she already did. "Hisashiburi desu..."

"AH! You're alright!! Yamato-kun told me you were hurt!!" Frowning a bit, Miyako quickly gave Mimi a hug. She was truely happy to see the other female, especially after what Yamato had told her.

Jyou looked at Mimi with a sincere, warming smile. Yes, Jyou was a nerd. But when he smiled like that, his deep blue eyes and his soft face neglected the title. "I'm really glad your ok."
Jyou spoke softly but then abruptly added, "Now sit down!"
Jyou was the kind of person to notice everything. Or at least the non-important trivia. He saw from her slight limp as she came over that her ankle was hurt and it was currently badly wrapped. Already was pulling bandages from his bag before Mimi had much time to react.

....it was so good to see familiar faces.
"Miyako-chan..." Pulling away, she managed a smile, then turned to the new face who was looking like he felt on the outskirts of the clique. Which was understandable since the chosen children were all so close. But he looked so familiar...her eyes widened in surprise.
"I spoke to you earlier! You're Ichijouji-kun's Nii-san, aren't you?" She gave a slight bow, "I know I introduced myself earlier, but I'm Tachikawa Mimi. It's nice to finally meet you in person." The pinkette didn't want to exclude the newcomer, especially since they were going to need his help. Which is when she was promptly pushed to sit.
"Jyou-sempai!" She argued, having happen exactly what she didn't want to happen. Though Mimi used to come off as spoiled, she worked hard to dispel that image, and didn't want to be fussed over.
But that was sempai. The blunette had a tendency to overreact, but it was one of his...charms. And without that tendency, they would have been screwed many times over.
Softly, Mimi spoke, "I'm glad to see you, Sempai," as he re-bandaged her ankle. Koushirou would be happy to see him too.
...
She suddenly had tears in her eyes again, only this time they were not from happiness. What would sempai say when he found out about Koushirou-kun? She dreaded it almost as much as what Taichi-kun would say...
"Gomen nasai!" Mimi bowed her head in apology as Jyou continued to wrap the bandage. "I-I couldn't help Koushirou-kun! Ichijouji-kun put a black ring on him, and now he's under his control! I was right there and I...I couldn't stop them..."
Mimi covered her face in her hands,
"If only Palmon was here..."
Then she wouldn't feel so useless...

"Please don't cry Mimi, we'll get him back. I promise." Jyou thought it was unusual to boast such a promise, but Koushiro was his friend. And there was no way that he would allow one of his friends to get hurt.
He turned to Miyako with a most amusing face that Mimi could not see. It was one of those frantic looks he would get that seemed to say, Miyako help her. Help me! I can't do this sentimental stuff!!

Looking back over at the group, Miyako blinked at the look on poor Jyou's face, and smiled, taking the hint. Moving over to Mimi once again, the teen placed a hand on her shoulder. "Come on. There's ONE Kaizer, and how many of us? We'll get that idiot back on track, AND we'll get Koushiro-kun back to normal, too! I promise!"

Jyou turned to the other boy, knowing he must feel out of place since they all knew eachother. He smiled thoughtfully trying to think of a conversation topic. "So do you remember how you got here?"
Reply
"I remember being together with Ken-chan, and that a car hit me. And then I was at the stairs. And you guys?"

Jyou still stood in disbelief but managed to say, "Well, you look pretty... alive. Who's your doctor? I would love to speak to him."

But she knew that dwelling on the past wouldn't change the events that had already unfolded. Jyou-sempai and Miyako-chan were right. If they went after Ken, and reminded him who he was...then Koushiro-kun would come back, safe and sound.
Safe and sound. He needed to be. Mimi gingerly wrapped a hand around her arm, trying not to think of the Koushiro that had pushed her into the wall. That wasn't her dear friend. The pinkette smiled at everyone, and replied, "You're right. We'll work together and get them both back."
She went quiet for a moment, as Jyou and Osamu spoke. Then, boldly, she asked, "What's our plan of action?"
It was a very leader-like and un-Mimi moment. Her brown eyes shone in a very similar fashion to Taichi's right now. The little pinkette that so many tended to underestimate, was ready to fight for ones she cared about.

Oh well...
He turned his head towards the girl, and shrugged again. "Pretty obvious, isn't it? We try and get Ken out from the safety of his base and away from all his gadgets. That way we can outnumber him and maybe talk some sense into him."

But even though Mimi was acting different, he knew she was still the same Mimi. If he could see auras, Jyou was sure she would have a signature pink one. He smiled at her. A plan of action was exactly the thing they needed to discuss. He was about to launch into the many theories he had already formed about this place when Osamu spoke.
He put Jyou's hour-long, planned lecture into a few brief senteces.
He fumbled with his glasses, "So... he has a base? Well, how exactly are we supposed to get in?"
