Several speechless, surprised seconds. “S-skinny Monkey-san?” Well, he didn’t really ever remember being called that before… “Me?” Said saru pointed a finger at himself, hoping he got it right. Ah, it must be because - Mokona, was it? - didn’t know his name. “Goku! My name’s Goku!” Funny, because the first thing he could remember, really remember, was how happy he was when he told Sanzo his name - the one thing he really, really remembered from a long time ago. Then the fuzzy memories - that someone had given him the name, and he couldn’t wait to tell it to someone, but then had it almost taken away… Huh what? Why was he thinking these things anyways? He normally didn’t… A grin broke out across his face. Y’know, the way the sun would push through the clouds. Only it was more his cheerful disposition than anything. Goku held Mokona closer to his face, eyes staring at the plump white body. “Up close, you look even more like a meat bun…”
“With ears.”
Right. Mokona was not really a pork bun, however much it looked like one. “Ah, are you lost?” When Goku first saw the fluffy white creature, it had been looking rather downcast, he thought. Although how he remembered that beyond the food…
