Zelos hadn't really planned on going out in the rain. He hated being wet like that, and it just hadn't been something he'd wanted to do. But the amazingly beautiful and empty mansion-type-thing that he'd found....apparently it had other ideas. One of the doors to a room he'd been exploring had spit him out in the middle of the City again. It had taken almost an hour to get back here, and now he was soaked, and very not happy about it. He had just dried off a bit found a robe to wrap around himself when he just happened to look out the window and see what appeared to be a damsel in distress caught out there in the rain ( ... )

Winry blinked as the boy walked up to her. He was rather tall, and if she had to place an age on him, she'd say nineteen. He looked young enough. She smiled back at him as he spoke. She hadn't seen him around before, but he was being nice. Although, admitedly, she was a very bad judge of character.

"Hello.... do you live over there?" She pointed in the general direction of the lights. Nothing wrong with talking to him. Besides, she had her wrench at her side in case she..... needed it.

He looked over his shoulder at the building, then back at her. "Why yes, I do," he said, nodding for emphasis. "It's warm and dry inside, if you need somewhere to outlast the rain."

He smiled again, and shrugged. Really, he hoped she'd at least stay and keep him company. The company of a pretty girl had certainly never hurt anyone!

"If you wouldn't mind letting me in, I'd really appreciate it." Ed would be glaring daggers and screaming at her if he knew this was going on, but that was besides the point. There was a warm place for her to go, with a guy who seemed nice. What was the problem?
