Who: Tom and War (Terra's also present, but unconscious. Er.) Where: Tom's mausoleum. When: After the earthquake and this email. What: War turns Terra over to Tom.
Tom gave a sudden start, smirking. So she was here at last, huh? About time. He was wondering if she had gotten his reply to the message that was sent to him some time ago.
Waving his wand casually, the sealed entrance began to creak open as Tom stepped out to greet his new guest.
"You've made it, then. Good." He pointed towards the inner chamber of his lair, "If you'll follow me, we can talk more securely."
Apparently Tom was becoming more aware of how unsafe the area was even for him to have a confidential talk.
No unwelcome parties would accidentally drop by in this place. War made sure that the doors here would work normally for the duration of the meeting.
She inclined her head in his direction and followed him through the stone passageway, adjusting the load on her shoulder. It would only be when they reached the inner sanctum that she would speak again.
Tom once again gestured to his guest, although this time it was towards a stone slab that was most likely used for sleeping.
"You can place our other guest there until she wakes up."
Tom's inner chamber was rather spacious; like a cave made of stone, mainly. Tom had taken the liberty to remove any dead bodies from his new home (they were burned on a funeral pyre some days ago). Tom didn't have much food; he was relying on magic for only the bare essentials and planned on pillaging for food at some other point. Whatever amount of bread and fruits he had gotten a hold on were on a small wooden table that he had bewitched to follow him from the Warehouse area.
"I am aware of what, or rather who it was," Tom said rather smugly. He pointed to some of the snakes that were slithering around.
"They act as my eyes and ears when I am unable to be there personally. It was they who informed me of this girl's power, and how you. . persuaded her."
"Your information network is admirable." The smile on her face had a hint of something menacing, though it wasn't directed at anyone in particular and was usually unidentifiable (though it did tend to make people uneasy).
"In any case, this makes things easier. Would you like to have the privilege of training her?"
Tom's eyebrows raised, "Training? I train those with magic in their blood. I see that she obviously has powers that wouldn't be accessed by normal Muggles, but I've yet to see if she can use a wand."
That didn't stop him from smirking.
"But if, by training you mean mind education, I could work on something like that. That'd be easy. Now what is it you're wanting from me in return? For a gift such as this must have some sort of price, no?"
The destructive feeling was more defined now, and her movements were as smooth as a hunting cat. "A price, hmm?" She caressed the girl's pale cheek with the back of her fingers, a gesture of twisted tenderness. Terra was only as valuable as her potential for destruction, after all. "I'll call you when the payment is due. For now, make sure she doesn't get herself killed or rendered powerless."
The gentle brush against her cheek was enough to cause her eyes to squeeze shut before hesitantly parting open so she could glance up at.. a ceiling?
"Nnnng." There were people talking but she was so tired. Using her powers on little to no sleep or food took a toll on her. Trying to speak only managed to loll her head to the side and stare blankly at whoever was standing over her.
"Welcome," Tom hissed faintly at the stirring young girl. "You are perhaps wondering where you are. There's no need to feel worried as long as you obey me."
He bowed slightly, "You will only need to call me 'Master' and we'll be fine. If you think otherwise. ." a hand reached into his pocket, obviously containing his wand, "Well, try me."
Somehow, the fact that Tom was partial to scare tactics wasn't surprising.
"This man will be able to teach you how to control your power," she said, addressing Terra. "What I have given you is only temporary." A well-manicured hand smoothened the girl's messy blonde hair, and War spoke the last line in the girl's mind. "Do not hesitate to call me if you need anything."
A semblance of trust was needed after all, just in case something goes wrong. Not that War minded if Terra levelled the City, but some times the timing of disastrous events was crucial for more bloodshed to occur.
Terra blinked at Tom, rather confused at what was said. Because woah, so sudden. She was being claimed, again? "Umm.. sure.." Thinking was a little difficult with her brain hurting as much as she did, but she refrained from asking what happened. The stick was regarded with a curious look, but she managed to wave her hand at him. "No need for.. that. I really don't need to find out what that is right now." She paused. "...Master." So weird to say that. Even Slade let her refer to him by his name. Well, his alias, anyway.
War was glanced to as she spoke, and Terra managed a nod. "R-Right, thank you." A neutral answer, directed at both inquiries since Terra could not do telepathy.
Tom flicked his wand suddenly, producing a tea-pot and a few cups. "Good, then. Since we're all nice and happy now, we can have a little cup of tea to seal the deal."
Tom was good with personalities, as seen when he was constantly the favorite student when he was at Hogwarts school. He had to make himself appear more secure for this newest recruit so that she would be more easy to influence.
"What is your name, girl?" Tom asked suddenly after taking a sip of his tea.
[ooc: Sorry for not being around so much. Studying for finals. T-T]
War hid a smirk behind her teacup at the sudden change of personality. Ah, if he would but use this tactic more... well, she had all the time in the world to see it happen. Of course, the people from his world wouldn't be fooled, but there would be other victims. More people were coming in now, and not all of them would be as suspicious as the majority of the first batch.
She cast a sideway glance at Terra, wondering how she'd respond.

War laid Terra on the block, making sure that her head was slightly tilted to them, before facing Tom.
"Do you know what caused the earthquake around half an hour ago?"

Now, if only she could focus her vision.
