A Reunion [Unfinished]
Who: Phoenix Wright, Ichihara Yuko, & Maya Fey (in that posting order, please)
Where: The Neighborhood (and specifically Yuko's teahouse)
When: After Ema's rescue.
What: Phoenix goes to find Maya and make sure everything is okay.
Phoenix felt like a bad, bad friend.
It had been several days since he'd received word that Maya was in the City -- but with all the craziness surrounding Ema's... tragedy, and everything that had been going on in terms of trying to find a way to escape the city, Phoenix really hadn't been able to get there. He knew there were so many things he should have done, and he'd even considered not sleeping in favor of going out to find her, but in the end he'd always been so exhausted that what was supposed to be just a brief sit down and rest period became his unintentional nap time.
He never remembered falling asleep.
He'd asked Lana and Edgeworth to look after Ema, just until he got back, and then he'd sped out on his own to find Maya.
Lantern in hand, Phoenix moved slowly down the narrow streets of the neighborhoods, past the old, abandoned houses. Most had broken windows, or missing doors (a few didn't even have roofs), and Phoenix shuddered a little as he moved on. He shouldn't have gone alone, he realized suddenly. What if something were to happen to him? Nobody would ever even find his body in a place like this...
Quickly trying to banish such thoughts from his mind, Phoenix sighed, moving on.
It didn't take long for him to see what he could only assume was the teahouse Yuko had been talking about. He moved towards it, a little faster, and knocked hard on the door when he got there.
"Hey! It's Phoenix, open up!"
