When: Some time after his failed attempt to climb the stairs
To put it midly, one might say that he was lost. Fuji didn't particulary like to think about it like that, it was more a matter of exploring the city. But the point of the matter still was that he had no idea where he was and what he was doing. The wounds he had contracted in the Garden were slowly healing, however some of them still stung from time to time, but it wasn't so bad that he had to keep from moving around. It was just... Slightly unconvenient.
Disoriented and tired, the young boy sat down on the sidewalk, glancing around. The city slowly seemed like it became more and more populated, and maybe someone in this wast place that was, at least in his mind, fairly close to hell, knew where they were and what they were doing. He just needed to find that someone.
And get him and Tezuka - and even Atobe - out of here.
