Who: Hatake Kakashi, and anyone else
What: Kakashi first comes to this world
Where: At the bottom of the stairs
When: early evening

Kakashi had no idea where the fuck he was. He had gone to bed in Kohona, and woke up…here.

Haku was dying.

The pain in his chest was fading away now, leaving him with a feeling of nothingness. Kakashi's attack was fatal, and he was losing blood fast.

He was falling...

Thud!

...he fell on solid ground.

Haku's eyes snapped open, surprised that he had actually felt something. He immediately saw the ground. But wasn't he at the bridge moments ago?

He sat up and dusted himself. There was no gaping wound on his chest, no burnt edges or tears in his clothing. Beside him was his hunter nin mask, unshattered. He looked around --

Zabuza-san?

The elder shinobi was missing, and his surroundings weren't anywhere near those of Wave Country. What was going on?

Kakashi stretched out his senses to the edge of their limits. He was looking for a charka signature, any signature that he could recognize. Suddenly he paused, cocking his head. "Damn I'm hungry," Riku muttered as his stomach roared in protest.
He was just wandering around to see if he could find some food
or maybe some people. He looked up and saw two figures.
He was about to let his presense be known until he saw
the one man with swords on his back.
Riku ducked behind a corner and listened closely to see if he
should approach these guys.
Did he just say he killed him? Riku heart skipped.
Does this mean I'm dead?

"You did," Haku replied slowly, standing up from the ground and dusting himself off while discreetly reaching for several needles in the process. He never took his eyes off Kakashi - even though they were in a very strange situation, it would never do to let his guard down. With his free hand, he put his hunter-nin mask back on.

"How long has it been since then, in your time? And how is Zabuza-san?"

The silence between them was so heavy and deafening that he almost didn't hear Riku's movements. Almost. Haku didn't know if the new presence was a genuine threat or not, but he also kept an ear out in case the other person moved to strike. Just in case.

“How’s Zabuza? Zabuza is dead.” Kakashi said bluntly. But he was compelled to add, “He died a hero Haku, you would be proud. As for your other question, about three years have passed, but none of that is relevant now. We need to find out where we are, why we’re here. I’m just as confused as you.” Kakashi paused and cocked his head.
“And who ever is hiding back there can come out too.” He called out. “No one likes an eavesdropper.”
