The house was passable, but it sure wasn't anything that the Great Zelos Wilder wanted to spend a whole lot of his very valuable time in. Not that anywhere in this City seemed to be particularly worthy of his time, but still.
There had to be some life out there, right? The female variety was, of course, best - but at this point, even Zelos figured he couldn't be too picky. He wondered idly what had happened to that girl. What was her name? Storm? Brook? Oh, it didn't matter. Something watery. Really, how could he honestly be expected to remember every single girl he met? He could remember faces better than anyone, but names, well...
After wandering around more aimlessly than even he cared to for over an hour, he finally found someplace that seemed to be much more habitable. At least, for a little while. Didn't solve the problem of where was all the food, but he could always find something later on. Didn't make any sense to have an entire freaking city with no food, after all. If he searched hard, he'd probably find something. Or, better yet, he could find some cutie to cook for him. That would be even better.
Even caught in his daydreams, Zelos's hearing was still up to par, and he turned to face the footsteps crunching over a few fallen leaves as soon as he heard them. He wasn't particularly worried, and he just smiled easily, figuring whoever it was couldn't possibly be any trouble. And if they were, then, well - whatever would be, would be, right?
