Who: Yuri and OPEN.
What: Yuri's arrival. Better late than never, right? orz
Where: At the bottom of the staircase.
When: During the shadow-y kidnappings, I guess.
Rating: PG-13 for language, just to be safe.

There was something really weird about expecting to die and then... not. Or maybe he did? He remembered thanking Karin and watching her as she returned to where she belonged. He also remembered hearing her voice, comforting and guiding him. It made him feel as if he were flying, and she was right there with him.
Except he obviously wasn't, because the ground was really hard and his back was starting to hurt. Like, actually hurt. Slowly, he pried his eyes open and took a peek at where he was. Above him, all he could see was a winding staircase ascending up into the sky. The sky itself seemed dark and gloomy.
Damn it. He wasn't ready to face this sort of thing yet. He stubbornly shut his eyes and remained laying flat on the ground. In defiance. Or denial, one of the two.
