What: Tom decides to conjure a symbol to make himself known
Where: An alleyway near the Tenements
When: Late in the night
Tom Riddle strolled along a pitch-black alley, dark eyes scanning the nearby buildings. There was nothing more to do for now except make himself (somewhat) known to the others. For a brief moment he had wondered if there were any other wizards living close to him. If so, they'd be in for quite a rude awakening indeed. The time was now.
Stopping beside a rather grimy looking dumpster, Tom reached into one of his pockets and extracted his magic wand. He caressed it slightly and then without warning, he flicked it up towards the night sky while bellowing, "Morsmordre!"
Instantly a green light erupted from the wand's tip, revealing a large skull with a serpent slithering out of its mouth. The strange mark hovered higher still, finally bedding itself in the night sky like an eerie constellation. With a satisfied smirk, Tom stood silently to observe his work.
The City might be feared by all, but soon Tom would be feared just as much (if not more). This was only the beginning.
