"Huh ?" Yoh blinked twice and looked around. He was on the Mu continent, right? He and the other chosen warriors were about to fight another Patch Tribe member, right? And then they would finally fight Hao, right?
Wrong.
He was standing on some kind of... staircase. There was no single human being within sight. In the distance, there were some strange buildings, which looked nothing like the one Yoh was staying at just a moment ago.
He suddenly realized that his friends weren’t with him. "Ren? HoroHoro?" the shaman looked around. "Chocolove? Lyserg? Ryuu? Faust?" He kept on shouting their names, but there was no answer.
"What is this place?" Yoh asked aloud. "I’m afraid I don’t know the answer to your question, Yoh-dono. But it doesn’t look like the Mu continent…" Samurai’s ghost appeared behind his back.
"Amidamaru…" Yoh looked at his spirit ally and smiled. "Guess we’ll have to find out ourselves. You know what? It reminds me of Hell. But I don’t remember being killed or anything…"
In that moment, they both felt that someone was coming. Yoh quickly turned around and tightened his grip on the katana he was holding, ready to fight if necessary.
