Ichigo opened the dorr quickly, yelling. "Oi! I hear you!" He nudged her out of the way, walking out and throwing Zangetsu over his shoulder. "Ok, I get that you want the ice cream. But where the hell do you suppose we're going to get that?"

At the rate this place was, if they DID find ice cream, it'd probably be blood-filled or something digusting like that.

"Then quit taking so long. And how the hell should I know, you've been here longer than I have. And no crappy flavours either!"

Following after him, she scowled at the back of his head, hand resting idly on Sode no Shirayuki's hilt. Not that she was about to use it on him, it was more a habit, developed from years of shinigami duties. She'd contemplated just wearing something normal, but that had been quickly vetoed by the realization that she didn't HAVE any normal clothes. Another thing that would have to be remedied via Ichigo's wallet, seeing as SHE certainly didn't have any money.

He sighed, walking forward briskly. "I guess we should go into the town.... place." He looked over at Rukia.

"So, what should we do if the murderer shows up? Other than kick his ass."

He was pretty interested to see what this thing was. It had to be the churches doing.... they probably didn't have enough slaves, or something. At least they weren't subjected to being mind-fucked anymore. But still....

"What do you think the chruch is up too?"

She shrugged, scowling as he took off at a brisk clip. Idiot. if he kept moving so fast, she'd have to kick him to slow him down. Him and his damnably long legs.

"Probably try and figure out if he's killed anyone else that we don't know about. Or maybe see if he'll tell why he did it."

That was all well and good, though she couldn't help but feel that the "why" of it was a bit of a moot point, seeing as it wasn't going to UN-kill the victims. But maybe it would help give someone a bit of closure or sense to know why their friend had been picked.

As for the Church...

"Probably the same sort of stuff they're usually up to, coercing people into working for them and enslaving random citizens."
