He'd been here for a few days, living off the food he'd found while he was shifting through some of the stores around the area. He'd checked around multiple times, waiting to see if there was a way in which people were showing up or escaping, but so far, he hadn't seen anything. It was puzzling.
The first day he'd shown up, he'd used his Byakugan to see as far as he could up the spiraling starcase. Nothing had come of that. No matter how much he used his bloodline limit, he couldn't see past the stairs. It unnerved him.
He stopped his steps, and stared at the building he was standing before. He had chosen this place to live; imperfect as it was, it was better than sleeping outside. Sensing a presence behind him suddenly, he narrowed his eyes slightly, and turned his head to look behind him. There was a man standing there, someone he hadn't seen yet.
".... Yes?"
