Updating...Surprised?
Hello all. I know I suck with the whole updating the blog and keeping in touch...I admit it - you all know it. It's just me.
So, something like a little over a week ago - I had an offline message from Marshall (this guy I'm interested in - lots of complication - he's in KY - I'm in AL now - things just seem to keep dancing around the issue of us - complications!). Anyway, after like a few months of silence, he IM's me. In one of my messages to him I gave him my number and he called. We've talked a couple of times. It was nice. It is nice talking to him, but I really just can't think about anything else when it comes to him...it's too hard. I mean, I'm HERE in AL now...and I figured his silence meant he didn't want to talk to me...*shrugs* Life is so damn confusing! I suppose that is the way it is supposed to be right? *sighs*
So, here is the plan...by October of next year I'm going to be ready for and TAKE the GRE! I'm going to apply for grad schools around that time. I'm going to apply for a college in Iowa, one in Michigan, some closer to or in Washington state (where Amy is), and some in or around KY, and probably on in the Chicago area (near Gab). I haven't made up my mind completely on anything yet - except the part about being ready for the GRE by October of next year! I'll be in Grad school in roughly two years. That's my plan!
As far as being home, I'm a little lonely for my Berea/KY friends and the woods, but things are good. I've spent some time with the family - non-drinking dinner nights. I think I'm on a good path and it still feels right for me. I get a little worried sometimes because of some stuff Dale told me a little bit ago - stuff he couldn't say when I was there in Berea. I get the feeling there is more of the unsaid stuff out there, but I could just be paranoid...*shrugs*
I cut my hair. I'm gonna update Myspace in the next few days. I'm working on taking some pictures to upload to the site. I love it. I know what some of you would say, but as Masden says - it's my hair - I can do what I want with it. And don't worry..."I" didn't cut my hair...I went to a salon.
