Actually, it was the technology back home. There's been a lot of instability on the dimensional level lately. I was marooned here from an alternate earth around five months ago. I'm a veteran of a much older and more advanced EDF, but I'm working here in the meantime. The name's Kurtis, Defender of Earth.
