[Simon leans against the wall. He decides to wait for her to finish or at least take a break before he sits down.]

*Rei finishes her simulation, starts to get up, and stops upon noticing Shinji's mentor. There's a pause for a moment as she tries to think of something to say regarding what she knows they've both had on their minds.*
