[Simon is in his room, sitting on his bed, looking at the other bed in his room. Never again would his roommate sleep in that bed.
An unfinished bottle of Guinness is in his hand -- the same bottle that Simon had given Lockon for Christmas. They'd never had a chance to drink it together.
Lockon's stuff is still in the room, but Simon knows that it's only a matter of time until it's gone. The thought doesn't make him less upset. His Haro, however, is conspicuously absent at the moment. Simon will go looking for it later.
