When Adrian Smith returned to the band, they let his replacement stay with the band. It's been this way for a couple years now, I believe.

Interesting. So that's a recent photo? They look like they're wearing their wardrobe from 1988...but I guess they do look kinda old.

I know Bruce Dickinson was out for a while and rejoined....

smith and dickinson returned in late 99 early 2000, they've released 2 albums with the lineup, the strong 'brave new world' and the excellent 'dance of death' which for my money is their best album since 'somewhere in time' and my buddy kev says it's their best album ever, and a case can be made!

Yeah, I rather enjoyed Brave New World, although I never bought it. I might check out this Dance of Death, despite the title, soon as well.

But... Best since Somewhere in Time isn't exactly saying much. Seventh Son was pretty decent, if at times a little too slick and seemingly aimed at the teenage glam fans, but the stuff in between that and Brave New World was utterly unlistenable. And best ever is a STAGGERING claim. Ima have to hear it to believe it.
