Why drop the Beatles, I'm sure most of you are asking. Simple: they're the most overrated, overhyped act in music history. 90% of their catalogue (and I've been exposed to ALL of it) is just fluff with nothing interesting going on, and little of it was done well enough to be deemed guilty pleasures. Guns 'n' Roses never did anything very interesting or groundbreaking, either, but at least they were goofy and rocked every once in a while.
