to the new year
well here it is.. my first post of 2006..... christmas was a little sad but ok.. simon was sick on christmas eve and didnt feel like going out to dinner so I picked up mcdonalds EEK.. but christmas day he was better so we ate out.... got some fun stuff from friends and family but got myself the best gifts - my new canon kiss 350D with 2 different lenses and with the points I earned buying the camera was able to buy a new 60 gig ipod video for 15,000 yen (like $125)
new years was a blast but was ALMOST a bust.... we had to work a set when the park opened at 8pm for the countdown celebration... we did a 30 minute greeting at the entrance but everyone jsut booked past us to get seats for the shows and those who did stop for pics were in a mad rush it was CRAZY.. total running of the bulls.....so then I was SUPPOSED to go to tokyo tower, but fell asleep (having just finished massive rehearsals for our new years show which debuted Jan 1) luckily Julie called me at like 1130 to make sure I was doing something... so I hung out with Julie, Cami, Mark, and a bunch of the russians for new years we got totally drunk and had a blast.....
the next morning we opened the new years show which is THE DEAL..... I love it cuz mickey and the gang wear traditional japanese costumes and we all have a blast doing it...
then today it was raining so 3 shows got cut(well 2 and a half -we got cut mid-show)
the TDL parades went down as well so JEff came over to our building and brought his silk (acrobatic) we all went downstairs and played and jeff taught us a bunch of stuff... it was so great ....a total good vibe chill kind of time which, after weeks of rehearsals and more coming for rhythms of the world, was really nice... I feel the end coming... I just have to make it through rhythms of the world..... whats funny is I'm sooooo ok now... maybe its simon.... who knows, but I feel ALOT better these days.....
