Giving notice
If you care about me, I will hurt you. If you need me, I will fail you. If you trust me, I will disappoint you.
I hope I will also bring people help and healing and love. When I hurt people, I have to try to fix things as best I can, and apologize, and try to do better. And when I hurt people, they don't have to forgive me; I hope they will, but forgiveness is complicated and personal.
but ... I need the people I care about to know that I *will* fuck up. And to see repairing the damage to a friendship as something sometimes possible, sometimes worth doing.
