(nya nya nya nya ni nya ni nya nya-oh look, another cat! A nekomata at that! What fun it would be to talk with a cat who knows where it's a-oh, it's with a human. Still, it might be worth the interaction.) How come all of these houses look the same? It's more fun making up a song than it is to look at this town.

But if they make us ask only dumb questions, then no one will be able to ask smart ones! Smart ones that could actually lead to smart answers! This mastermind must be incredibly clever...

Sometimes I do when I'm bored or when I'm entertaining cats. It gets their attention pretty easily.

(As to whether it's good or bad attention is a question for another day.)

I'm paying attention; clever people are rare in this town. Shiny things and yarn balls are nice and I don't need them for conversation; they actually kinda distract me from them.

(A bit of an understatement, but at least she's being honest. Maybe even a little mature!)

But it'd be nice if you had any you want to give me. I wouldn't pass them off.

(...scratch that maturity thing.)
