End-of-the-Year Meme

Dec 26, 2011 05:32

First sentence of first public post from each month of 2011: (I'm not counting posts that were memes themselves)

January: Ugh, I just spent my ENTIRE day working.

February: Rudy and I went to see a fellow blues dancer perform her music last night, and I really loved her show!

March: It's gonna be a crazy (and hopefully awesome) week.

April: So, since last week I have done a lot of looking for jobs, especially ones in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries.

May: Got a job interview for this Sunday, for an ESL teaching position for the summer.

June: It turns out that I have all kinds of time off right now and then at the end of June.

July: Feeling horrible right now. My allergies are making me miserable.

August: Life is good.

September: Everything seems to be coming together, even quicker than I expected.

October: So, being in Shanghai is not all that awesome for me right now.

November: So, while I only get ten days of leave as well as the public holidays off work within the entire year I'm here, there should be a few days here and there that I get off work for random reasons, such as the fact that the school is supposed to be installing interactive white boards in all the classrooms sometime soon.

December: If you haven't yet bought my book, please consider doing so.

That's it! It's been a whirlwind of a year, and I look forward to what 2012 has to bring. :) I'll be in China for most of it! And in case you're wondering, yes, I am awake at 5:30 AM, because my stupid cough was waking me up and I had to sit up and wait for more medication to start working. :/
