Ugh. Third week in a row I'm not having a Mandarin class. The first week, I was lame and completely forgot to go. The second week, my teacher cancelled on me because she had some training thing to go to. But this week, I *know* I put the right time on my calendar, and had planned to go... only to have my teacher text me at 11 asking where I was. I know for sure that we planned to have class at 12, not 11. And she says she has to be at Xinzhuang at 1, so that leaves us no time for class from 12-1, like I had planned. I would not have put it on my Google calendar at 12 if we hadn't planned to have it at 12. I clearly remember talking with her and then immediately putting it on my calendar. So now I'm pretty annoyed. I know that EF is providing these lessons for free, and my Mandarin teacher is really nice, but if she had something to go to at 1 she shouldn't have planned to have class with me at 12 and then changed it at the last minute without telling me. Maybe it's the language barrier, though, I dunno.
The other bad thing about this situation is that there are two new teachers at my school who also planned to attend the class, and I don't have either of their phone numbers. Now they're going to show up at the school at 12 for class, and have it not happen. I feel bad and I feel responsible even though I know it's not my fault. *sigh*
