Eeee! I just got this email from the woman who listed the apartment I really want to move into:
Hello Rose,
Attached is the map of how to get from Xinzhuang station to the flat, and if you have a Shanghai subway map with you it's the southernmost station on line 1. Which day are you arriving in Shanghai and how long will you stay at the hotel? Cause some other people are coming to see the flat and I will let them know after you've seen the flat. Gudai Longming rd is not far away from here but since there's no station close to it maybe you'll have to figure out if there's a bus around or company bus? Let me know if there's anything I could help you with, not only flats - I know how it is to move to a new city!
by the way I'm 29, Taiwanese, lived in Minnesota when I was small, I work in fashion retail.

She sounds really nice and it sounds like she is holding the apartment for me to look at before others. :D :D :D The first chance I'll get to go look at it will be Friday afternoon after 4:00 PM, since that's when I'll get out of my first day of orientation. I just hope I can get help navigating the subway system and that I don't get lost!
