Writing it all out like this makes everything seem a bit less overwhelming. :) I'm really almost there! I have plenty of time to get everything done, and I'm also less overwhelmed about life in general now that I've made a decision about where I am going after I graduate. Yes, that's right - I've made a decision and figured something out! Sort of, anyway. I'm going to be moving in with Aaron sometime probably in early February (since that's the time that's most convenient for him) because it's really the only option I have as far as a place to live after I graduate that is free and won't require me to move in with my parents or move all the way across the country to my sister's place. Aaron has extra bedrooms and won't charge me anything to live there until I have a job and can afford to give him some rent money. I'm at peace with this decision and I'm actually looking forward to this next step and having a change of scenery, getting to know dancers in Seattle, and getting myself out into the job market up there to try to find a job in person rather than applying online and having phone interviews. So, as of February I should be living in Tacoma and freezing my ass off, but I will be surviving and I will be taken care of. Hopefully I get into the credential program at CSU East Bay so I can start that in the summer and move back to California! I've passed my CBEST and CSET tests, which CSUEB requires for admission, so I'm doing everything I can to get myself into their program.
My sister will be taking my cat back with her to Connecticut when she leaves after visiting me this month, so I will miss Jasper, but at least he'll have a good home and I will be able to see him every once in awhile and keep updated on him throughout his life. :) My roommate is unhappy with my decision to give Jasper to my sister instead of leaving him here, but my sister is family, and I'd rather keep Jasper in my family so I can keep seeing him for the rest of his life, etc.
By the way, I just had an awesome weekend at the SF Bal Fest, where I feel like I got a lot better at following balboa and I just had some really good dances. :) I'm going to miss San Francisco!
I'm tired and have not much else to say, so I'll stop here. Hope you all had a good weekend!
