Performing again?

Tonight I auditioned for the Senior Dance Concert that will be taking place at Sac State! I feel like I did really well, mostly because I was not nervous and was mostly just having fun. The hip-hop portion of it was super fast so I had difficulty with that (not to mention I just don't do hip-hop), but I felt good about the across-the-floor exercises, the improvisation, and the modern dance exercise. We also did this thing where we rolled on the floor and jumped up into a certain position... that was a little sketchy, but I feel like I did my best. :) I am excited and hopefully I will get selected. I REALLY miss performing. They asked if people had experience with singing, with pointe, and with partnering, and I was able to raise my hand for all three, so hopefully that bodes well. I would love to do pointe work again, and of course partnering is now what I do all the time, so I'd love some of that. :D

I'll of course update when I know anything about results. I should know by the end of the week!
