This has been my first weekend in awhile that has felt like a real weekend. By that I mean, I've actually had time to sit and do practically nothing. I usually have something planned or something going on... but this weekend, all I had going on was Midtown Stomp on Friday night, Sunny's housewarming party last night, and blues dancing tonight... not a lot, which leaves me my entire days to relax.

My car battery died on Friday, which meant that day wasn't entirely relaxing, but my friend Charlie at least came over and gave me a jump, so I could get to Carmichael Automotive and get it replaced. No biggie. Only annoyance besides paying for it, is that it messed up my stereo so I have to go get the code for it now before I can use it again (that's the anti-theft feature on it - when it is disconnected from power, after that you have to put in a code to make it work). I have to go to the dealership and prove I own the car, and they'll give it to me. Oh, well.

I performed at Midtown Stomp on Friday, with the lindy hop performance class I've been a part of. It was AWESOME. Everything went perfectly, at least as far as my partner and I were concerned. We pulled off our aerial perfectly and everything. :D I have a few pictures up on facebook, and a video will be up soon... when that is up I will show you guys. Go here to see some pictures: http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=58211&l=1ceee&id=507990967 It's just the first six that are from the performance, and the rest are from other parts of the night. :)

I feel like I'm doing all right in school. I LOVE my linguistics class, it's so much fun. :D My other classes are okay, and Spanish is going much better now that I have my book. :) I have some reading to do today, actually, for my Second Language Learning & Teaching class. Should be interesting.

My parents are going to be visiting this week! I'm really excited for that. :D I love when they come up here to see me. They only have once since I moved, and it's fun to show them where I live and such, and they still need to meet my pets. On Thursday evening my mom and I are going to the So You Think You Can Dance tour, which I am SUPER excited about. :D I just need to figure out if we can get special disabled seating (since my mom is disabled)... I've been slacking to make the phone call. I shall do so tomorrow when they actually have office hours.

That's about all for now. I hope all of you are doing well. :)
