I finally got video clips uploaded to YouTube, from my most recent ballet performance.
Here's the first:
This is a duet I performed with another girl in my ballet class. I am the one who starts and finishes at the cage on the left. I realise this performance isn't perfect, but at the time I was dealing with major shoe problems... :(
And the second:
I'm on the far left. This dance was originally designed to be done with ropes hanging from the ceiling... but we ended up having these big pieces of fabric instead. It was really difficult to dance with these, as they were big and bulky, and it was rather unsteady. The majority of the dance is done on pointe, so unsteadiness is due to not being able to brace ourselves well with the "rope". Anyway, it is what it is.
