(no subject)
Today's been pretty good.
At work, we had a potato bar for lunch in honour of St. Patrick's Day. :) I brought mint & chip and pistachio ice cream (they're both green) for people to have as part of dessert. Yay for potatoes and ice cream!
After work I went to the middle school, and things went pretty well. I really liked the activity the teacher had the kids do. :)
Then I went to donate blood, and guess what, my iron was high enough!! That shocked me... but it kinda figured cos I had planned on rock climbing tonight, so of course my blood chooses today to have high iron, to make it so I can't go rock climbing... oh well. I had only gotten Casey and Abe to come (two new friends from Creston Village) and we're gonna go see a movie tonight instead, so it all works out. Hopefully we'll see Premonition, cos I really want to see that, but if we don't, we'll see Zodiac, which I wouldn't mind seeing either.
I'm wearing green pants today and I got a green tourniquet when I donated blood! :D I'm all ready for St. Patrick's Day! Too bad I don't really have any "nice" green clothes to wear to work tomorrow at Creston Village... I'll have to figure something out.
