(no subject)
Today consisted of the following:
• Waking up around 10:30, rolling back over and going back to sleep.
• Waking up again around 11:30, realising I planned to do laundry today before taking my mom to her treatment, and therefore abruptly getting out of bed and gathering laundry.
• Having my mom get up and tell me she doesn't want me to go do laundry so late, since she didn't think I'd be done in time to take her to her treatment. She was probably right, so I conceded and just got in the shower instead.
• Taking my mom to her treatment. Cutting out stuff out of magazines and adding more to the collage on my journal.
• Coming home, then taking laundry to the laundromat.
• Putting laundry in the washer, then going to La Mexicana Market and looking around. I hadn't been there before. It's tiny but cool. I bought a word search book and a Marie Claire magazine en español, as well as a little surprise for my sister.
• Putting laundry in the dryer, and going home while it was drying.
• Sitting on my computer filling out pointless myspace bulletins.
• Realising my dad didn't know I still had to go back for my laundry, and he took my mom's car somewhere. So I took his car to go get my laundry, annoyed that my laundry basket was still in my mom's car... I had to take a trash bag with me to put my clothes in instead.
• Picking up clothes, folding them, going back home.
• Going out to eat with my parents, trying out the new El Pollo Loco. Not bad. Then we went to Wal Mart where I bought Jessica a Belanova CD for a belated birthday gift. Grocery shopping followed.
• Calling Jessica to find out when I'd see her before she goes back to Germany. Finding out she was already planning on going to see Casino Royale with Drew and her cousins tonight. Making last-minute plans to join them, wrapping her gift.
• Talking to Phillip briefly on the way to her grandma's house.
• Taking Jessica and Kelly to the cinemas because Jessica's car battery is dead. Saw the movie, it was good.
• Taking Jessica and Kelly back to their house, driving home. Talked to Phillip briefly on the way home, confirmed that buying him a phone card is a good idea. :)
• Chatted a little bit with essius and typed this entry.
Tomorrow's going to be a quiet Thanksgiving. I'm going to sleep in, and my parents and I are going to have a turkey dinner here at home. It'll be nice. Then on Friday we're going down to Lancaster to visit my dad's side of the family, like I said before. So I get two Thanksgivings, kind of. I'm sure there'll be turkey at my Aunt Susan's. :)
