Well, I've had an enjoyable weekend so far.
Yesterday was pretty lazy. I slept in till about noon, and sat around for awhile. After my parents left I decided to take a little drive out on Creston Road (like, out towards Creston [where my church is]) and see if I could find pretty things to photograph. I did, but at the same time it was tough to find places where I could stop and not feel awkward that someone might see me and think I was trespassing on their property or something (which I might have done, I'm not sure - it gets tricky out in the country, to know whether you're on someone's property or not). It was cool, though. It was about 6:30, so the sun was starting to go down, and was at a spot in the sky where the lighting for my photos was really nice. If you have
spinningheadart on your friends list, you'll see I posted 5 of those photos today.
After that I went and picked up some dinner at Tacos Jalisco, my favourite Mexican food place here in Paso... it's super close to my house, and it's really good authentic Mexican food, and it's cheap... and the cool thing is no one there really even speaks English, so I get to practise my Spanish when I go there and order food. ^_^ After that I went home, ate my yummy food, and was a couch potato for a couple hours, till my love called me around 9:30. He got a ride back to base last night with the freakin' Sergeant Major! I thought that was pretty awesome. Haha, and the Sargeant's daughter was talking with Phillip and they found out they're both into Phantom of the Opera music, so they were singing together on the way back... lol, that is so something I could picture Phillip doing. :P
Anywho, I got to bed entirely too late last night for what I planned on doing this morning, but at least I still woke up this morning for it... I went to the Cowboy Church out at the Creston Rodeo, which was pretty cool. Dusty, and allergy-filled, but cool. Trish and Stephanie (Phillip's mom & sister) came, which was awesome. I'm hoping they might come to a regular church service sometime out in Creston. And I also saw Jessica's family there, which is always cool. I'm planning on going rollerblading this afternoon with her cousin Kelly and Kelly's friend, which will be very cool, since I haven't gone rollerblading in ages, it seems. Last time I went skating it was on ice, lol, and that was in Virginia! So it's been awhile.
That's about it for now. I hope everyone's having a relaxing Sunday!
