(no subject)
Today was good! It didn't go as originally planned, but it was nice, regardless.
First of all, it RAINED. Grrr. We were glad at least it waited till today to rain, and it hadn't rained yesterday for the wedding. But it did kinda ruin the plans we had to go to the beach and boogie board. So after church, Phillip and I snuck off to the hot springs, and we spent awhile there. ^_^ I love that place. He and I decided we're gonna have a hot tub at our house someday.
After the hot springs, we went to a party at his aunt's house in Atascadero, and it was kind of a combo party for his cousin's birthday and for Mother's Day, since they hadn't gotten a chance to celebrate Mother's Day yet with all the hecticness last week. So, that was pretty fun. He has a pretty big family, so there were lots of people there, and lots of familiar faces, all people who are really nice and fun to be around. ^_^ He and I got really relaxed there, cos his cousin gave him a back rub, and then I was complaining that I felt left out, so he gave me one. ^__^
It was still pretty early by the time things were winding down, so a bunch of us kids decided to go see Over the Hedge at 9:00. It was pretty cute. I'd have preferred to see The DaVinci Code, but he and I can go see that on our own later on this week. I'd rather see a comedy if we're with a group of friends, anyway, cos it's more fun to laugh together.
The disappointment of today was that Stephanie was stuck getting a ride home from Phill tonight, so he had to take me home at 10:30, which is really pretty early, so that he could take Stephanie home. He and I have been staying out till 2 or 3 AM, and we do need to be getting more sleep, so it's good we got home earlier tonight, which we had planned on doing... I just was hoping it wouldn't have to be that early. -_- Oh, well... he's still got another week left here.
He leaves on Sunday morning... he's got to catch an 8 AM flight at LAX, so that kinda sucks... I want to go down to LA with him again this time, to say goodbye to him, which I probably will... but that will mean we'll have to leave in the middle of the night. I wouldn't normally decide to go, because that will really kinda mess up my sleep, but I don't have to work on the 29th (it'll be Memorial Day weekend), so I'll have that day to catch up on sleep.
Anywho, tomorrow's another regular Monday... I'm working 2 hours, and hopefully having lunch with my love again. ^_^ Then hopefully he and I can do something in the evening - I won't have Spanish class! YAY for no more college for awhile! ^__^
