Well, he's gone now. -_- He just kissed me goodbye like five minutes ago. He's going back to base today, and he's got to get his stuff packed to leave for Virginia on Tuesday. He's going there straight after his graduation from SOI, and then he needs to find out when his class picks up... if they won't be starting for awhile, he can probably get some recruiter's assistance here at home for a week or two or three... so we're REALLY hoping for that. But either way, he will be coming home the weekend of May 20th for his sister's wedding, so that's not far off.
This weekend was AWESOME though. Yesterday morning I went and picked him up at his house (he isn't allowed to drive at all) and we went out to Breakfast at Joe's Place, which was nice.
After that, I was late for Danielle's bridal shower, so I dropped him off to help his dad with a project, and I went to Danielle's shower. It was fun, but it lasted till almost 1:30, and I was anxious to spend time with Phillip, of course.
So I left pretty quickly after it got over, and Phillip and I went and got him some swim trunks at Big 5 and went to the Paso Robles Hot Springs... that place is NICE. Seriously, they treated us SO well. They gave us a military discount, and we even stayed an extra hour and a half and they didn't charge us any extra, even though it is supposed to cost $12 per person per hour! We'll definitely have to go back there again next time he's home. ^_^
After the hot springs, we were both very relaxed/sleepy, but we also hadn't eaten since breakfast and it was already past 5, so we went out to dinner at Wilson's Restaurant. After dinner, we went and saw RV which was pretty good... it was funny. Phillip thought it was hilarious... I liked it, but not as much as he did. Robin Williams was pretty funny. ^_^ After that movie, we went and sat in the car and talked for about 45 minutes, and then we went and saw Take the Lead, which I really liked. Joanna and Mariel were there at the same time, too. ^_^ After Take the Lead, it was 11:30, and we didn't want to go home, so we just sat in the car and talked and cuddled for two hours... lol. My mom called me at 1:30 wondering where I was, and I hadn't realised it was so late already. I ended up getting home at about 2.
This morning, he woke me up at 7:30 with a phone call, which was nice. ^_^ Stephanie brought him over to my house and picked me up, and we all went out to breakfast at Denny's. It was nice. I was glad to get to spend one last hour or so with him, even though it wasn't just us two. He's going back with his family and they're going to stay with his aunt in Chino Hills and then go see him graduate on Tuesday from SOI. In a way I feel kinda sad and left out that I don't get to go... I have to work every weekday, so I'd end up having to take at least two days off, which I COULD do, but I've already taken time off to see him, etc. But really, it's not that big of a deal that I can't go, cos I'd only get to see him for like an hour or two on Tuesday, and nothing more. He's graduating and then he gets like maybe an hour with his family and then he has to get on a bus to go to the airport and fly to Virginia. I think I'd be going crazy more than anything else... seeing him for that little of time would not be easy cos I'd just be sad that it wasn't longer. It's already almost like that when I just see him for the weekend.
So... if you pray, please be praying for him that he has a safe trip to Virginia, and that he might get recruiter's assistance to have more time at home first, if it's in God's will. *sigh* He's going to be in Virginia for 2 years, and while he will get 30 days of leave per year, it's unpredictable when I'll get to see him, and I don't know how often I can go and visit him, since that is a really big trip for me.
Anyway, that's about all for now. Today's my mom's birthday, and we're probably going out to dinner tonight and possibly to see a movie (maybe Take the Lead; she hasn't seen it yet and I told her it's really good). So, for now I'm just lonely and missing my love. -_-
