Oh, and the love falls down like rain...

Ah, my Valentine's Day was perfect. I took the bus to see Dan this afternoon, and arrived in town round 3:40. He then showed up a few minutes later to meet me, and he had his hand behind his back. I knew what he was hiding when he walked up to me and kissed me... flowers. :) He got me one red rose and one white rose... special order. The white rose is just cos that's my favorite flower, and the red one is cos it represents love. I didn't know that the white rose represents friendship, but I don't really care, it's still my favorite. :) We ate an early dinner at an italian restaurant, and got some pasta. It was good. :) Then we saw "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." It reminded me much of "Never Been Kissed." Huge plot similarities! It was a cute movie, though, and very much a chick flick. Dan wasn't so crazy about it, I don't think, but we had a good time just being together anyway. After that, my parents were going to come pick me up soon at his house, so, since we couldn't get ahold of his mom, we had my parents pick us both up downtown where we were, and they took us to his house to drop him off, and there he also had a gift for me. He gave me the cutest teddy bear that's holding a velvet rose, and a heart shaped box of chocolates. :D Totally typical Valentine's Day gifts, but they are so wonderful. It felt so great to be able to spend Valentine's Day with someone whom I love so much... and someone who loves me just as much. This has to have been the best Valentine's Day I've ever had. :)

Other than that, some more great stuff has happened! Last night, my mom went to apply for a job at Target, and, since I work there, and they were shorthanded and I just happened to be in the store, they asked me if I would work right then and there. I was dressed in my Benjamin Gate gas mask t shirt (that I just got and am ever so excited about!!!) and jeans, and we are supposed to wear a red shirt and khaki pants to work in. But, I was allowed to work in the outfit I was in, and it was so cool. :) Yet even cooler stuff happened! I talked with the operator there, and a few other people, and we worked stuff out to where I have tomorrow night off so I can go to The Elms concert!!! :D I had been scheduled to work tomorrow night, but I wanted to go to The Elms' concert soooo bad, I just HAD to get that shift covered! And, thanks to God, I did!! YEY GOD!! So, Dan and I have tickets to go tomorrow night, and it's gonna ROCK!

Anyway, I'm getting sorta sleepy now, so I'm actually gonna go to bed now. G'night. :)
