if you're going to listen to anything i say, listen to this
one of my groupmates for the battle of the bands just passed away from a drug overdose. i'm not saying this because i want sympathy-- not at all. the reason i'm writing this here is because i just want to say to NEVER, EVER do drugs. i don't care if you think everything you heard in school is bullshit, because you're fooling yourself. if it was all bullshit, then brent would still be here right now. if you even think about doing drugs, call me, i don't care where i am, i'll talk to you and try to help you get through whatever you felt only drugs could get you through... just don't do it. yeah, i hear all the time from people who think that they're stronger and won't get addicted and will be able to keep themselves from overdosing, but honestly... you're not superhuman. and i bet he thought the same thing as anyone who thought they'd be okay. under a drug, you're not in total control. and if you don't want to listen to me because i haven't tried it firsthand, just know that it means that i'm in a clear state of mind and NOT under the influence of some substance... and i'm alive.
