Thank you! It should have been Rosette, actually, but my mother was originally from Flemish Belgium and didn't want a French name for me. [She rolls her eyes and laughs at how stupid it is]

Anyway, it's wonderful to meet someone else who lives here...ah, even if it is over video. Are you a performer as well, Mr...?

Oh, I see. I didn't realize that name was a French one! Does that mean she's French? Or...maybe her parents just liked it.

A performer? Oh, no, I just came here because a friend was here. Although I guess I've done a few cooking demonstrations with Shiki for parties and things, but I don't know if that really counts.

[Chrono comes down the stairs a few minutes later--wearing modern clothes (jeans and a t-shirt) instead of the vaguely Native American deerskin he used to wear in this form. He smiles a little awkwardly when he sees Rosetta and steps forward.]

[Rosetta turns and has to catch herself before blurting out anything about how tall he is, or the ears or...well, mostly the tall bit. Then the smile comes back. She's very practiced at this]

[She swings the diabolo off of her shoulder so that it swings from its strings in front of her] Not really in the classical sense, of course, but I had a good reputation as a circus performer back home.
