Today's been hell on wheels. I'm halfway through with my training at the Auror Academy and I'm ready to get the whole mess out of the way and get out in the field. Especially since we're working on our field skills right now, and it's been the best part of the courses so far.
My favorite is probably forensics...it's morbid, I know, but it's also deeply fascinating. We have a really revolutionary teacher who thinks Muggle methods are worth a damn, which I think is really great. So we've got these great spells that trace the magical end of things, and some Muggle science to take care of the physical side.
It's all so fascinating, I get a bit carried away and forget that not everyone thinks crime scenes in the same way I do. *blushes*
