Hanging out at the Falstaff Battle of the Bands = Cool.
Beating random boys at the SSB Brawl/Soul Caliber tournament at Case = So Much Cooler.
Also provided hilarious commentary to the poor souls who hadn't yet watched Nosferatu; God knows they needed it. I finished it yesterday, giving me enough time today to watch Ghost in the Shell. Which was good, but I think it would have been better when it actually came out (1995). You know, when the internet was still new and the whole Creepy A.I. trope hadn't really been done yet. Now it's like, okay, yeah, I get that A.I. invalidates human intellect. I get that it brings into question the meaning of a soul. Of course, that isn't to say that it wasn't a great movie because it was.
In other news I got someone to watch Kara no Kyoukai. Fuck yeah.
You know what else I did? I made a nerdy outfit look really popular. My fitted Jaynestown shirt with khaki short shorts looks all mainstream at first glance/to the uneducated, but it also attracts all the Browncoats I could hope to meet.
"YOUR SHIRT IS BEAUTIFUL." "Aw, thanks! Hey, can I have lunch with you guys?" "Sure!"
Like a bawse. :3
Lastly, quote of the night:
"It's too bad guys don't dress all fancy like that anymore."
"Yeah. Like, if I saw a non-creepy guy wearing one of those frock coats or something like that, I would just be like, 'YOU. ME. LET'S GO.'"
"LET'S BE BEST FRIENDS."
