Completely wasted break
It is impossible to get any work done while home. I went home with this big list of stuff that I was going to get done...unit stuff, writing lesson plans, stuff like that. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And I really needed to get it done, too. I can foresee an all-nighter tomorrow.
I really did have fun during my long weekend, though. Went to the football game on Friday. It was pretty entertaining, even though we lost. Tyler Roseberry's aunt went nuts and just started yelling at all of the people that she was sitting around. Someone said she must have been tailgating a little too hard at the Prep tent beforehand. The band looked really good, though, especially in comaprison to Prep's drumline thing that they had. That and what I can only guess were Prep kids' little brothers (they were like ten) who jumped around and I guess tried to break dance during Prep's halftime time. I don't really think I did anything on Saturday. Sat around. Yesterday, my mom and I went to see Marie Antoinette, which was pretty good, up until the end. It just ended, like there should have been 15 more minutes of movie. No heads getting chopped off or anything. A little disappointing.
I learned to knit this weekend. I'm making a Harry Potter scarf :) I think that this probably contributed to my not getting anything done this weekend.
