I swear that one of those little kids in the daycare that I visit got me sick. One of those nasty really bad sore throats and yucky cough deals. grab a jar of vicks vapor rub, go to the bathroom sink, run REALLY hot water, and drop a teaspoon at a time into the sink.... the vapors will help u clear ur lungs out so that cough will tone down, and it will make ur throat feel a bit better...
also try drinking some hot tea with honey. no one i know likes this idea either but it soothes ya.
