I liked this one quite a lot.
While busy watching Marty's pupils I realized that there are lots of close-up shots in which you can clearly see Duchovny's anisocoria (sadly, not nearly as dirty as it sounds--one pupil is dilated more than the other; Bowie syndrome, if you will).
...but so anyway despite the central conceit of the plot being complete bunkum, it worked anyway.
There was a line about Marty not drawing disability benefits, something to the effect of "refusing to acknowledge that she's not a whole and complete person." Hearing the formal legalese used in ordinary speech was really kind of unsettling, and tells a lot about American attitudes toward "disability," I think.
Also in this one Mulder comes across once again as a ridiculously, dangerously soft touch.
