the big unknown
Didn't post an end-of-2009 post like I usually do, but figured one to mark the start of 2010 was a must. Even though I'm here alot less these days, guess it's because there's alot less things in my life to complain about right now heehee
Looking back on 2009, all I remember is the library, common tests, lugging prelim books everywhere, the library, conquering prelims, back to the library, being best friends with my gc, prelim paper after prelim paper after prelim paper, raffles discovery being one of my most visited sites, raffles discovery being a bitch and constantly going under maintenance, more time in the library, data booklet and mf15 almost disintegrating after so much use, counting down to november 10 and finally finally making it to december 3.
Would be kinda hard to make resolutions for 2010 because I have no idea what's going to happen for me this year. School life was always easy to make resolutions for: Do all my homework, ace the exams, train hard, win the gold, stay awake all the time, be a nicer friend. Even though the future for this year is kinda foggy, I'm excited it's that way. Srsly up till now, some days I can't believe just how FREEEE I am and how I don't have to start and end the day with a prelim paper or something. Amazing feeling.
So many months since this picture and I still can't get over it HAHA.
Early in the year when we were still high from j1 and not wearied by j2 yet...it was during one of those mass toilet breaks we took so many times back in j1 haha too much fun
Final finals. Coach has been so nice to me these 6 years, and I have this feeling that although mentally I'm tired and ready to put away my glove for good, if I end up at NUS this year I'll somehow end up in his team again
NOISY GIRLS AT THE BACK, with tz being the noisiest girl of all despite whatever he says. Two years of insane moments all over school, making too much noise and pissing the teachers off (esp during gp)
MS CHIA'S FAVOURITE STUDENTS. Even though our math hasn't been anywhere near awesome the entire two years, and still spend all math tutorials sleeping/not paying attention/eating/trying to get ms chia to talk cock with us...she loves us anyway :D
Noisiest students but still favourite students, I'm sure of that ;D
MT13 THE RENEGADE OG EVERYONE WANTS TO BE IN. I'll never forget those few days when we came up with the entire list of og names from O'RGAniZM to O'HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and plans to dump the oglings halfway if they turned up unhappening...too bad orientation never got the chance to be blessed with the awesomest og in history but this picture pretty much sums up the fact that we'll be co-ogls for life
So glad I finally got enough guts to go to Arrow more often, and found such awesome fellowship with this cg :) Having a bunch of people to share my spiritual journey with has definitely strengthened my relationship with God so I'm immensely thankful for that. Already looking forward to Arrow tmr yayz
You have no idea how far we've come from our 13-member strong batch in sec 1 to this. Most of the others aren't part of the team anymore but I couldn't ask for a better bunch of people to end it with :) I bet in a few years we're going to be ORA oldies no matter how much we ignore all their emails now lolol
Glad the year is over, and I made it through the entire A level process with my brain and sanity still intact. Many things will change alot over this year, without school to spend time with the people I'm most familiar with. Guess it's inevitable that many relationships will change and people will drift apart, but I firmly believe the friends I'm meant to keep in the long term will continue to stay in my life. Gna submit my apps soon and after that I'll just leave what happens next up to God :)
