6 Reasons why this was a good weekend
1) After going to four different Bath & Body Works stores, I finally tracked down my current object of olfactory lusting, the covetted eau de toilette of Sea Island Cotton which apparently smells of "pure white cotton flowing in fresh ocean air" and in actual fact kind of does.
In any case, it is very pleasant and I have been trying to find it for the last week. Each time i didn't find it, i bought something else in the same fragrance. So I am now the proud owner of 1 x antibacterial hand lotion, 1 x 8 oz body lotion, 1 x anti bacterial flowing hand soap, 2 x 4 oz body lotions, 1 x body splash and 2 x 15 oz eau de toilettes of the perfume in lieu of the 50 ml which i wanted (I had to buy 2 x mini perfume/body lotion gift sets).
Anyhoo i count that as a success and i hope i don't get sick of the smell any time soon.
2) I had a fun expedition to the mecca of ultimate fangeekery - the comic book store and obtained issues 1,3,4 and 5 of Buffy season 8 and it is AWESOME. full of quips and snark and whedon world love. issue 2 is sold out apparently but i managed to obtain it through bit torrenting so am now up to date. i am now having an intense revival of buffy nostalgia, my first fandom love. i really must obtain the full set of buffy and angel DVDs ASAP.
3) Also during my fun trip to the comic store, i purchased the first issue of Battlestar Galactica Season Zero, which is a prequel set two years prior to the mini and features the pornstache of papadama and also a very well endowed mamadama. Papadama also has some pretty nice comicy armporn going on
4) I talked to my most excellent parents and got to squee with my mother about horatio hornblower AND roswell. how cool is that?
5) i bought four new tops and only paid for two (BOGO! WEEEE)
6) i bought 6 pairs of replacement undeez to replace the ones that the laundromat perve stole. although they are not equal to the BONDS ones that got nicked (BONDS UNDIES ARE THE BEST THING EVAH), they are not too inferior and i am quite pleased with them. hubby on the other hand is not so pleased since they are very perfunctory and "granny like" but eh. comfort comes first in my undie land.
but if any of my antipodean girlies wants to send me some bonds undies for christmas anyway i would not object
