School review
I was reviewed on Friday. It was interesting. I was fearing the worst for some reason.. like they would tell me how bad I was doing or that i am the worst ALT they have ever had. But they didn't. They said I was doing well and liked my level of involvement...
Areas in need of improvement? Yep - my vice principal said he would like if I talked with the other teachers more. I have nothing against the other teachers... and I want to talk to them - it's just I really don't know enough Japanese to speak in conversation, and that keeps me away. But I will make more of an effort now. I should practice speaking Japanese anyway, even if it is bad.
I think I can understand about 40% of what I hear, I just can't really speak. It's really weird! I find myself responding to Japanese in English. haha
