I forgot I had a livejournal
Haven't posted in god only knows how long. The last time I posted I had my old computer which was stolen in the apartment break-in last spring. Since then many things have happened, but in converting to my new computer I never put livejournal on my favorites and thus completely forgot about it.
So I'll just give a brief update for the present. Wedding plans are going well, except occasional arguments with my mother about things. As the RSVPs started coming back she still refuses to understand that people go away for Thanksgiving and thus are not able to go to a reception the day after.
As far as our house is concerned, we placed the original bid in May and we still are waiting to hear if the bank is going to approve the price. We have already had to reapply for a loan with the interest rate slightly going up and the loan offer is about to expire again at the end of September which is only three weeks away. Our apartment complex is starting to get annoyed with us since we say we are vacating in 60 days every month in an attempt to not pay an extra month's rent if the deal actual does go through. At this point I think it would have been easier to just renew the lease for a year back in June.
Work has been crazy for the past three months. Working at three hospitals now and each one has people on vacation at various times throughout the summer. Now that we have made it to September hopefully I can get a few days off, but at the same time I don't want too many days off. I don't know what I want lol. When I work 15 days in a row I'm so exhausted, but when I don't work 5 days in a row I feel so lazy. Such is the curse of not having a full time job anywhere.
